You have demonstrated commitment, ongoing care and investment in the nurturing and development of each student in your class. You have maintained contact with parents, ensuring that they are aware of their child’s performance and capability. You have challenged the students to meet their potential in their areas of strength, as well as develop their other abilities. You have set firm boundaries regarding punctuality and homework, but have also been warm, understanding and approachable. Finally, you have nurtured a sense of respect for and amongst the students in your class, communicating with them openly and respectfully. You have created a strong work ethic and have made a strong positive impression on parents and students.

You are one of, if not THE best teacher in the school. Your enthusiasm, support, guidance, care and commitment to our children (and us as parents) has been second to none. 

We have been at the school for 6 years and we have had some wonderful teachers. However, we feel we have been incredibly fortunate to have had you as a teacher. Our kids have had such a special, fantastic and positive year in your class. 

With a class that includes non-English speakers, children with learning disabilities and those with social anxieties, you have fostered a classroom attitude where everyone is equal. My daughter does not distinguish between any single person in the class - all are great friends. That’s a rare skill that can only come from the teacher that brings it all together. The children have been the lucky recipients of your wealth of knowledge and life experience. The added benefit that has brought cannot be underestimated. Your teaching style is skilled, caring and resonates equally with children and parents.

You are the first teacher our son has had that has taken the time to connect with our son to highlight his gifts and positively challenge him. We have noticed an increase in our son’s engagement in his schoolwork and a new-found confidence and determination to strive for higher goals. In addition, you have had a dramatic impact on the children’s general and social wellbeing. We have noticed a significant increase in the harmony at school. Thank you for engendering a greater sense of mutual respect, cooperation and teamwork in the classroom.

You have definitely been the best teacher Talia has had, and this has been her best year of growth and learning. All children should have the opportunity to be taught by someone of your calibre.

You have challenged our daughter but have also supported her.  She has gone from a child who hated Maths at the start of the year to it now being her favourite subject.
